Georgia Einkorn Biscuits and Gravy

Hot, crispy Einkorn biscuits and nutrient-dense pastured pork sausage gravy! Who can pass that up? A hearty and healthy way to serve breakfast for your family. The Einkorn flour makes them a good choice for those with gluten sensitivities.

Directions
Sausage Gravy Ingredients & Directions:
- 1 lb. Pork Country Sausage, fried
- 8 tbsp. Butter
- 1/2 cup plus 2 tbsp. Einkorn Wheat Flour
- 1 tsp. Celtic Sea Salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 4 cup Raw Cow Milk
- Fry sausage and set aside.
- Melt butter in saucepan
- Add flour, salt, pepper, and garlic powder
- Stir until blended
- Add milk; cook and stir until thickened
- Stir in Sausage
Biscuits Ingredients & Directions::
- 3 3/4 cup Einkorn Wheat flour
- 1/4 cup cane sugar (opt.)
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. Celtic Sea Salt
- 1/3 cup olive oil
- 6 tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 cup Raw Cow Milk
- Heat oven to 350 degrees.
- Combine lemon juice and milk and set aside.
- Combine dry ingredients.
- Stir in oil with a fork.
- Add milk mixture.
- Stir together til well blended.
- Drop blobs of dough about 2 in. apart onto greased baking sheet. Should make 12-14 biscuits.
- Bake for 15 minutes.
Serve the biscuits hot topped with sausage gravy!
