"One Farm... 100 Years... Same Family."

We are Edwin and Dawn Shank and family. God has richly blessed us with six children, four in-laws so far and a growing number of grandchildren. Our children and grandchildren make up the 5th and 6th generation of farmers on this land.

Almost 20 years ago, our family felt called to "dress and keep" God's good earth, with respect to His created design to bring forth healing foods. (Genesis 2:15) In answering that call, we transitioned all of our farming practices to certified organic. Today we specialize in high-integrity, nutrient-dense, raw, organic, and soy-free foods from God’s earth, and from His grazing "cattle upon a thousand hills." (Psalm 50:10)

Questions about our Faith?

We are conservative Mennonites. Some call us Anabaptists, some call us plain people. The most important point to understand us is that we are a community of Christians sincerely dedicated to living in obedience to and faith in our Saviour, Jesus Christ and His Father’s Word, the Bible.

We do get enough questions about our faith and our plain people Christian communities that a while ago we started a separate blog where we commit to answering any questions you may have for us. If you are also curious, here is a sample of one of our articles.

We dedicate our farm to grow only high integrity, non-industrial foods for you. We believe you deserve to eat every meal with confidence.

This dedication means we not only manage regenerative grazing pastures for our beef and dairy cows but we also grow the organic supplemental grains for the pastured chicken, pigs, hens and turkeys and operate a USDA inspected slaughter facility too. Monitoring and managing the entire food process is the only way that we can personally assure the end-to-end purity and integrity of your food supply.

We do hope to exceed your expectations on all our food. If it's not pure, if it's not humanely and conscientiously raised, we won't sell it. That is our commitment to you. It’s the heart of our Farm 10 Core Differences.

But we depend on you!

Even though we pour our energy into our organic whole foods dream, we never forget that our efforts would be pointless if you didn't value it. So, thank you. You are without a doubt the most important player in this game. Never underestimate the tremendous responsibility of food choices. You do make a difference! There is power in grocery shopping!

Working together, we can heal our soil health, our personal health, our quality of life, the quality of our animals' lives, plus the social fabric of our communities... one bite at a time.
