You get our cider already pre-frozen this time of year since we've locked in the freshness as soon as it was pressed in the fall.

The frozen jug acts as a large ice pack to keep other food cold for a 1-2 day camping trip. Then once it thaws, you get the bonus of ice-cold, refreshing cider to quench your thirst.

Partially frozen cider also makes a delightful slushy to help cool down on these hot days. Blend frozen and unfrozen cider, add extra ingredients if you wish and serve.

Want fun, healthy popsicles for your children? Cider is perfect since it is naturally sweet and simple to freeze in popsicle molds.
