This blend of flowers makes the honey especially helpful to fight Goldenrod or Ragweed allergies! Eat a spoonful any time you experience allergy symptoms. Then during the worst seasons, use a spoonful morning and evening to avoid flare ups. Friends of ours have used this honey to reduce allergy affects within hours. After several years of use, allergy flare ups stopped all together!
Aside from allergy fighting, the Knotweed in this honey gives it high levels of Iron and antioxidants... not to mention the natural healing properties of Knotweed that can battle Lyme's Disease. Knotweed also creates the darker hue in this honey compared to lighter honey some other years. You may notice the especially rich flavor profile due to the different types of wildflowers this honey comes from.
In case you are new to "Cappings" on raw, unfiltered honey, it is a layer of crunchy bits of pollen, propolis and honeycomb that tops each jar.
