Good morning Family Cow family!

Welcome with us our dear baby boy, Carson Brad Shank!

No long farm email today—just a bunch of pictures to show off this newest miracle of life our family is blessed with. :)

With the help of God and two midwives, Carson arrived safely at home last Thursday. We praise the Lord that Mom and baby are doing well and we are thankful for another safe home-birth!

Kataya-and-Micah-first-kiss-on-Carson.jpg

First kisses from big sister Kataya and "big" brother Micah! They are thrilled with their little brother but still need plenty of quality time with dad and mom.

FYI: Micah thinks "quality time with dad" involves some version of me laying on the floor with him jumping on top!  lol

Actually he does enjoy other things as well like throwing disc golf in the yard or me giving "airplane rides" by zooming him around the house with sound affects included.

Loving these precious moments with our newborn... and we'll try to lock in the memories of this stage because somehow it didn't seem to take long for Kataya to become a 4 year old and Micah is now 2.

My dad & mom, Edwin & Dawn, are Grandparents for the 17th time now—9 girls and 8 boys. I believe we should snap a whole family picture to share with you all again... might be quite the circus! :)

Micah is so pleased to be holding his little brother... with Mom's protecting help of course!

P.S. Referral Rewards coming soon!

Next week we'll launch a way for you to Earn Referral Rewards as you tell people about our clean pastured foods. Over the last 10 years we've put extreme effort into relentlessly improving the standards for how we raise our own feed, pasture our livestock, run our own USDA processing, and bring real food directly to you.

We have the family, team, and community all set in motion to provide clean, sustainable food supply direct from our regenerative organic farm to you and your friends. Local PA delivery and also nationwide UPS shipping for frozen meats.

Now we just need your help.

Most farms in our position would pay thousands of dollars for online ads to spread the word. That's not us.

We want to offer foods so outstanding in their purity, flavor and nutritional profile that you, as our enthusiastic farm supporters, are the ones excited to tell everyone possible.

We will give you the Referral Rewards instead of spending that money on advertising. This will be real cash applied to your account each time a new friend you refer places a first order with us.

Watch your emails to get started with Referral Rewards next week.

Your farmer,
Wesley

Pottenger's Cats: Book Review

During the 1930s, Dr Francis Pottenger Jr. who was a medical doctor in California, conducted nutritional/feeding experiments with 900 cats over a 10 yr period. Some groups of cats received raw milk, others pasteurized milk, others evaporated milk, still others sweetened condensed milk. The cats on raw milk exhibited Vibrant Health, meanwhile...

Nutrition Facts and the Bikini Atoll

One question we hear is, "Why are the Nutrition Facts on raw milk so similar to the Nutrition Facts on pasteurized milk?" The similarity of the two ‘Nutrition Facts’ would seem to support the FDA mantra that there are no nutritional differences between pasteurized milk and raw milk.
