This is the same certified organic, expeller pressed coconut oil that my wife Dawn and daughter Gwendolyn have used for our family for several years. Since Dawn already buys in bulk for our store baking, and some of you have asked, we decided to make this available to the rest of you. Try it out! Dawn and Gwendolyn have tried many kinds of coconut oil for cooking and they like this best. It’s made by mechanical pressing only so it contains no solvents or chemicals. It is not hydrogenated either so it has no trans fats. It is expeller expressed and refined, has a neutral flavor and no coconut taste. And yes, it is certified organic.

For the time being we simply put this coconut oil in some jars that we had on hand from when we bottled honey last year. We don't even have an official label yet. So this will look a little farmerish and makeshift. Don't laugh! We'll get the labeling better as we go.
